“…real leaders don’t follow polls, real leaders change polls…”
Personally, I think that Gov. Christie gave a great speech. There is a rumor that the governor was asked to tone it down. While many are dissatisfied with the speech, I believe that Gov. Christie did what expected of him.
The New Jersey governor reached out to America with the purpose of opening eyes to that which is representative of the Republican Party. Gov. Christie debunked some of the Progressive propaganda, which blinds so many on the left. Moreover, he called out what needed to be called out even if it meant touting his accomplishments, i.e., the accomplishments of a Republican, which never would have been considered by Progressives on both the left AND the right.
The message that I took away from this speech is no more excuses, no more blame games, no more leading from behind. Republicans (in my…

Congressman Artur Davis Republican National Convention Speech 08282012
…To those Democrats and Independents whose minds are open to argument, listen closely to the Democratic Party who will gather in Charlotte and ask yourself if you hear your voice in the clamor.
Ask yourself if these Democrats still speak for you.
When they say we have a duty to grow government even when we cannot afford it, does it sound like compassion to you or does it sound like recklessness?
When you hear the party that glorified Occupy Wall Street blast success. When you hear them minimize the genius of the men and women who make jobs out of nothing, is that what you teach your children about work?
When they tell you America is this unequal place where the powerful trample on the powerless, does that sound like the country your children or your spouse risk their lives for in Iraq or Afghanistan?
Do you even recognize the…

Governor Susana Martinez – Republican National Convention Speech 08292012
“…In America, todo es posible…”
“…and at 18, I guarded the parking lot at the Catholic church bingos….I carried a Smith & Wesson 357 magnum….”
“…and I looked over at Chuck and said, ‘I’ll be damned, we’re Republicans….'”
Everyday Americans experience an epiphany and finally with eyes wide open, are leaving the Democratic Party aka Democratic Socialists of America Party.
A great speech. Powerful and passionate. God bless Governor Martinez.
Women’s Health: Job Stress Increases Women’s Risk Of Diabetes, Not Men’s, Study Claims
Margaret Wheeler Johnson
It’s well known that stress can take a toll on the body in multiple ways, but a new study suggests that it may impact women’s health in a way it doesn’t affect men’s.
The research, published in the Journal of Occupational Medicine, tracked 7,443 men and women working in Ontario, Canada over nine years. The results showed that low job control — defined in a previous study as minimal “control over [one’s] tasks and [one’s] conduct during the working day” — increased women’s risk for diabetes, but did not have the same effect on men. None of the participants had a history of diabetes.
Peter Smith, Ph.D., the study’s lead author, wrote that women’s risk could be caused by a stress-induced change in immune system functioning or hormone levels, or it could be due to “changes in health behavior patterns, particularly those related…

Candidate Paul Ryan Accepts Vice Presidential Nomination – Republican National Convention 08292012
…With all their attack ads,the president is just throwing away money and he’s pretty experienced at that…
Just one of many messages that sent a blow to the Obama camp last night but which is why Progressives are bending over arse backwards accusing Republicans of being angry and using code words.
Since when is telling the truth a code word?
PROGRESSIVES are guilty of that which they accuse others. Refusing to accept accountability, they are odious, angry, divisive and racist.
Their attacks and endless wave of propaganda and race baiting are falling upon deaf ears with the exception of the clueless, truly indoctrinated, free loaders and those who have sold their souls for the color of Obama’s skin.
From where I sit, Paul Ryan is a genius and there is no one on the left that can come close.
Progressives are feeling intimidated from Obama down and as for the…
